Girls, you keep complaining it's cold? it is winter there you know! but nicer winters than here! Shame about byron bay, we went to watch sunrise at the light house at stupid o' clock in the morning! great place but it's just a beach really... it'll be hotter in Queeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeensland! Ahh I'm just reminising over photos now, wish I had more! 12000 isn't enough? |

Hi girlies, still following your travels, wish I was back in Aus, good to see you've held a snake, seen any spiders yet?! The summer has started here now, not sure about glasgow? LOL! had a lovely hot weekend, almost like being back in Thailand without the nice beaches but I'm sure we're in for rain soon. I have been sacked from my temp job for poor performance, bad attitude and using the internet for personal use? how rude! bit I get to laze in the sun and pretend I'm still travelling. . . . with you guys! I hope you stop at 1770 agnes water for a cheap surf lesson and riding on motorbikes! stay at cool bananas! brilliant! enjoy, you muxt be half way through now? I'm trying to plan our next trip but I need a job 1st... happy travels x x x |

you found your perfect place yet? AS you two are well gonna struggle going back to a "normal lifestyle and job"!
you still shocked at the price of beer and everything else in sydney? the north cheaper? when you go to auckland? yuo have to do a bungee off the auckland bridge (where they originated from you know)>..... i chickened it. we go to new york on the 22nd of aug for 9 nights!!! very very very very excited. infact dying for the holinag xxx |

Just finished the book "eat, pray, love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. She wrote about Bali and Ubud with such wonder that I wanted to see pictures. I am delighted to have come upon your travel journal. Great pictures. Keep us up to date and good luck with your adventures. |

Hey Gill!
I saw that you're going to Jakarta - DEFINITELY take the short flight to Yogyakarta (pronounced: Jog-Jakarta). There was just something about that place that I loved. When there, also go to the temple of Borobudur!
Now it's time for me to live vicariously through you - and I'm loving it (and remembering that sometimes the 'grass is greener' when I read things like your boat story in Thailand - hehe.)
