You're pictures are magnificent! My husband doesn't really have the urge to visit Africa, but I'll have to show him your pictures to make him change his mind! Thank you for sharing. =)

Hey Heather!! How's your hair holding up? Thanks so much for including me in your emails. Reading about your adventures is very inspiring. It makes my day reading about all the amazing and somewhat not amazing places you two have been. I miss seeing you at the Salon and our gossiping and venting sessions(okay mostly I'm the one gossiping and venting, thanks for always listening). I'm still not engaged yet. I know what the hell is he doing.I have no clue as to why he's taking so long. I have a feeling its any day now, though. Looking forward to seeing you and hopefully there will be a wedding to plan you can help me out with. Best of luck with your travels and see you soon!! Terri

Hey You Guys! I am so glad to hear that everything is going well and that you are out of Egypt ;) Malta sounded beautiful. I really enjoy reading your entries...I feel like I put down the novel when I'm done and start again when you send the next one. Keep taking good care of yourselves and each other. I can't imagine how you will need to be re-integrated into society when you get back!!! Keep us posted. We look forward to having you back...Love Christy

Hi guys!!! Sounds like you are having the time of your life!!! Thanks for the emails and postcards - Heather I miss you so much!!! We tried sending some recent pics of Kenzie, but they didn't go through. Not sure why. But I can't wait for you two to meet her!!! Can you believe she's almost 6 mos already!!! She's sitting up all by herself, and is eating carrots and peas!!! And she's now sleeping through the night (the reason I am FINALLY visiting your website!!!) Your pics are amazing - can't wait to see them all when you get home. Which is soon I hope??? Can't remember exactly when you're due to come home, but if Scot is planning to be home for the Playoffs, that's only a couple months away!!! Anyways, just make sure you make it home safe!!! And call us once you're settled back in TO and we'll make plans to get together - the 5 of us!!! Love you lots - enjoy the rest of your trip!!! K+K+G

Scott/Heather - Very much enjoy reading each and every update. Sounds like you are experiencing some great and some not so great moments (as least in the last update) - but I am certain the experiences are well worth it. Take care, and remember to PTFO G-UNIT!!

Hi guys. Scot I do not believe I have had the pleasure, but I must say your writing is wonderful. Heather I am sure your parents are envious of your travels. I see that Scot is very good at staying on the good side of his mother-in-law. I did not know she was from Malta and I agree with the "lovely" compliment. It's great to read your emails. I wish you both all the best, especially good health and safety as you continue your travels. Keep Well. Al

Hi Scot and Heather, Since I've enjoyed your e-mails, thought I should reply and wanted to say hello. I sit here in the study with the ancient, out-of-tune piano in front of me that also reminds me of you. Spring is slowly returning here and we even had 1 day at 19 degrees. Back to normal the next day and staying at -2 to +3 for the next while. My body hurts a little from the workout I did earlier today. Where do you hurt after riding a camel? And how have you stood it so long without a toilet and shower you can rely on? That is the part I would find most difficult. (But I have never even gone camping in Algonquin park.) I went to Mayan Riviera but just golfed for a week in February. It rained every day--but just in the afternoon after golf when we wanted to go to the beach. Brian and I spent 2 weeks golfing in Arizona. That was great. We went with another couple. His parents live in Arizona and we spent a day with them. The scenery was spectacular and very different from anything I had seen before. His Dad knows the area well from quail hunting and knows of ruins with Indian caves, shards of ceramics etc. located on messas etc. Terry stayed an extra 3 weeks to explore those with his dad. Everything here is as normal, perhaps dull when you put it on paper but I seem to be quite content with things as they are--working on redoing the kitchen, going to the gardening show "Canada Blooms", seeing the ballet with Leslie, Lynn Redgrave at unique lives and experiences and confining my travels to books. We think about you often and am looking forward to seeing you home safe and sound. Take care. Tricia

Scot and Heather. I've been following along on your trip silently, but after that last threat I figured I had better pipe up. You are doing what I always dreamed of doing. Travel Safe, and GO! OILERS! GO!
