Headin' 'down south', eh? I hope the ferry ride was beautiful - it was probably more relaxing without a psycho companion worried about a tent flying off for 36 hours straight...huh? Let's talk soon - what a good summer in Alaska. Already looking back and smiling.

Laura. Can't wait to have you stay with us! Let the Nintendo tournament begin. You're gonna love it. So, down to business. I'm really gonna need to see some pictures of those bunnies. Lets just call it rent. Good luck!

Hi Laura, It was a great 5 days in Ketchikan, lots of good chats, food and laughs. Glad Matt left me his cot. smile

I MADE IT! Thanks for the public good luck note, no letting anyone down now. I'm tired, not much sleep last night - but the trip here went fine. I'm just getting unpacked. I'll call soon - I hope you are having a blast with your mom! Miss you all.

Hi Laura; hope you received my email from yesterday. Keep hope alive; think like the eagle - be the eagle!

Ask and you shall receive: Hi Laura! We still have your stuff in our garage. We also have a guestroom. If you need a place to stay whenever in town -- you are always welcome here. Also I'll ask my sister to ask around about jobs and/or living spots in Seattle. She may only have connections with Green-apron-barista employers, which I'm not sure is your cup of tea (aren't I clever with the puns?) But I'll ask her. I'll write a real letter later, Kj

since i am in spain and recently came from morocco,i will guess 2500 dirham, which is about 295 us dollars, or 245 euros. seems like somebody could get more money for that, but im trying to be reasonable.

Those truffles sound delicious. I'm going to guess Taxidermy is pretty pricey. The only problem is not going over...My first thought was $450, but I'm thinking maybe that is a little too low, I'm going to guess $1199. Bring on the chocolate!

What! On a log! With a fish! That changes everything! But does a dead fish make it worth more or less? To the average Jane in the lower 48 I'm guessing less, but since you're in AK, where all of the persons 10 (of any poll that claims 9 out of 10) dwell, I'm upping my guess to a whopping $1750.

So, I noticed that there aren't to many takers for that chocolate. Not any serious ones anyway. I'm going to weigh in at $995 and no, that's not because I'm gaining more weight...ok so I am, but that's not why I want the chocolate! I just want to win. And be a distraction from that Bono thing.

Laura - I will guess one hundred ninety five dollars, US American. But what the real question is - what can you do to end poverty today? And today is Sunday, Bloody Sunday.

Hola Laura! Oye..oye...I am so EXCITED to have you travel journally again. For goodness sake when are you going to get your work published? It's a good thing I'm in the library and not allowed to laugh to my hearts content. I probably would have pee-ed my pants by now. Then I'd be biking home in increasingly cooling pants. Wet and wind= cold. It was great to talk to you on the phone last night! I'm sure we'll be doing some more phoning since we're both "online" via the help of public libraries. Much love, Bridget
