This is the travel journal of Diana & Stefan.
On the 01.Feb 2003 we will be starting our big adventure of travelling around Oz. We have taken a year off work and are planning to leave Brisbane going south, taking our trusty tent and our 4WD.
Again, it will be a day without a home or address to our name.
We have lived in New Farm, Brisbane for 3 years, which is the longest we
have ever stayed in one place,
enjoyed every day and made great friends along the way.
We will probably still be traveling around the world when we are old and
gray.
Here are a few details about our Trip:
We will.....
- travel around 40000km, 30000 of them on dirt roads
- set up and take down camp around 220 times
- ignore the Big Smoke and stick to National Parks and outback towns
- walk around 200km through National Parks
We will keep in touch regularly and let you know on which beach we are drinking our cocktails and in which ocean we are swimming. | | | |
