Welcome to my travel pages!
Boipeba island
Last month I went to Bahia, Brazil. In the tourist information in Salvador, I asked for quiet places to visit and they recommended me a little island, called Boipeba. I was informed that I would find a beautiful island with lot of different beaches and friendly people. It specially attracted me, because there are no cars on the island
It sounded very good, so I decided to take a chance. I have to say, that it was much better than I expected. Every day I discovered, a new wonderful beach, clean and without any pollution. Really nice people, unforgettable sunsets and tasty food. So I decided, to stay three more weeks than I expected.First I stayed at Pousada Rhydayam, where I was very well served, but then I rented a house, where I really felt like home. It is a house, owned by an Portuguese- argentine couple, with original decoration, full equipped, and even books to read, maps of the island and lots of nice little details, you never expect to see in a place like that. Camarão (which means `shrimp´), the housekeeper, wss always there to help and when I don’t needed he just desareared, just genial....
