I was looking for info on Guatemala for my Grade 2 class and I randomly came across your blog. I volunteered in the Primaro class with Julio in March last year. They were such an amazing class and I really miss them. It was such a great experience. I barely spoke Spanish but I got by (sort of ) on a few words and a lot of games of stella ella ola. Anyway, what a small world!

"A human being is part of the whole, called by us 'universe', limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons close to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from our prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all humanity and the whole of nature in its beauty." - Albert Einstein Do you think Albert went to Guatemala?

Leslie, you will be home in less than a month. Once you are settled back into TO life and have a job and everything I will come for visits. And I'm definitely feeling inspired to travel right now after reading of your experiences. See you soon love.

Hey Kiddo! I have been really bizzy lately however mom and dad have been keeping me updated on how your trip is going. I have been reading for about an hour now all of your entry's and looking at pictures. I am just amazed how life is so differant and the littlest things we take for granted. It sounds like your having a great trip, and having so much fun. The pics look incredable, makes me jelous that we are all stuck up here living our normal mundane(think thats how you spell it)lives and you are experiencing things that so many in the world could just dream about. Just thought I would stop by and say Hola and I miss you lots and I love ya tons! I will try and make it back more often now.
