Hey bro'/bro'-in-law. Happy holidays!! Hope you are having a wonderful time...we are sure you have somehow managed to find some celebratory gatherings. The snow is deep and cold here, but we have been able to console ourselves with skiing, snowshoeing and ice-fishing. I keep trying to help Dad out by shoveling his sidewalk but so far he beats me to it. At least you don't have to worry about staying warm. Miss you. C&E |

Hi Eric,
I assume that because of the slow internet connection that you did not have time to list me as one of the things that you miss about Canada.
How about that weather in Calgary.
Hopefully I will see you in Cameroon, Senegal and India or at least one.
Happy Holidays in however way you celebrate the birth of our Savoir, The Lord Jesus Christ.
I will leave you with the words that my last friend who was working in Cameroon for VSO said to me
Never write if you can speak; never speak if you can nod; never nod if you can wink." and never put it in e-mail. |

I have to join the chorus and tell you that missing snow is absurd! It is -30 and we have feet of snow (at least it seems like that) and driving sucks. It took Carol 2.5 hours to get home on Friday!! Have a wonderful if non-traditional Christmas and I hope 2009 is a good year for you, in Cameroon and wherever you should land after that.

Helllllllo Mista Eric. I haven't sent you a message in so long and really wanted to wish you a wonderful holiday season. Albeit I'm very jealous that we are all here in the bitter cold and you will be frolicking in the ocean. Your posts are so wonderful and I always look forward to reading them. I'm sure you miss the 8th Avenue Diner! It hasn't changed a bit. Hope we can go for lunch there when you are back! Take Care! |

Happy Holidays Eric,
We're all thinking of you and wishing you could be here for the usual round of family getogethers. We've got 18 inches of snow, its about -30C and will be for at least another week. Does that help with the missing snow at Christmas at all? Axel sends a big gooey baby kiss. Enjoy your holidays!
Hugs! |
