Welcome to my travel pages! Hey, well here it is FINALLY. Thank you for all your patience, and for the less patient ones…well sorry to make you worry or frustrated. Travelling so far has been an incredible time. I don’t really have the adjectives to begin to convey all that I’ve been feeling and seeing.

If some spellings are unfamiliar to you as you peruse the journal, or read the captions, just remember this is being composed on a British PC so, it has their spell check. For the most part it’s the same, with a few exceptions. Which of course you know I’ll choose those words, for added flavour LOL.

I wanted to get at least a few galleries up and ready before I emailed everyone, to give everyone a first hand visual buffet of all I’ve been up to.

I’ll warn you now, between classes and travelling things get hectic….but I promise to update regularly so be sure to check back [or not] regularly to see everything. If you choose not to check…well bollix to you. LOL

Well a brief overview of the galleries:

Running Route: not much to expand on this….it’s route I run in the morning and the sites I see. Enough said.

Peeps: Some of the friends I’ve made

City of York: can you guess…yep it some of the sites in the town; right now there isn’t much here…a work in progress. Even though I’ve been in town regularly, I have yet to go in with my digital….but I will.

Lake District: Incredible images of the hike (5/6 hours who know how many miles) we took along the coastal area known as….the Lake District. Damn I am so original with my gallery names….

Scarborough – Yes, it’s the town and a song…. Quite lovely.

Whitby: another wonderful coastal town; working on tracing part of my family roots. Capt. Cook took to the sea from this area regularly. He attended St. Mary’s Parish Church that I visited. The museum and statue that tributes him I must return to, they were unfortunately closed on the day we attended. But I’ll return…

London: My second favourite city in the world (so far) next to NYC. Guess that's why I come back! Yes, the homeland beats Paris, just don’t let the french know…they get so testy about these things. LOL

Ireland - Can you guess what's in here???

Lime Tree Farm - in Grewlthorpe sacred stone circle, and conservation lands.

More to come….enjoy

Love and Peace to all,
Melanie
