Bienvenidos,
As a former Community Health Peace Corps Volunteer who was stationed in the outskirts of northern Peru, I want to send a sincere gracias to everyone who has kept up faithfully with my misadventures and sent me words of encouragement which helped keep me going during the toughest of times.
My work and travel throughout Peru are unfortunately finished for the time being, as I have returned to the United States and am enjoying life as an American citizen on my own soil for the first time in several years. Though however uncertain the future may be, I do plan on future hijinx down south in the years to come.
My stories and experiences have been taken down, but I am choosing to leave the pictures of my friends and my home for two years to serve as one of the only current websites with pictures of this beautiful unknown corner of the world.
In the time to come and boosted by the support of my friends and family and countless gallons of caffeine, these adventures will be penned into a book, complete with the stuff that was even too risqué for an open online forum such as this. So for those who kept up with the adventures of this lonely ol´ Volunteer and his twisted view of reality, please keep on. Updates will follow.
So, enjoy the warm picture fuzzies and deep, life-changing thoughts
- Brian
