Demeter,
Hey man that canoe trip looks like a blast! I am also jealous you got to visit Solveig! Settle down at home and know you can always come to CO and hike around in the Rockies and hang out in our guest room before it turns into a BABY room!
We'll have a new family member in March Bro!

Wowzers mister - you've been busy since graduation! Sounds like some awesome adventures. I'm impressed! Ali and I are considering being 'Amazing Race' partners. What do you think? Could we win? We may need a work out program first... Outreach is almost over! This staffing thing sure is a humbling season. Glad to hear you are coming back to the base. Sending blessings to you! |

Yo, Eric; sounds like your first foray into the world of management was pretty typical. Everybody thinks its so easy to be the boss until they actually have to deal with the real side of it. While it may not have been much fun at the time,I,unlike others, am glad that you where able to add it to your list of life experiences and hope that it helps you to see some things in a broader spectrum of enlightenment in the future. Kinda too bad kids don't get to have that lesson in life sooner, like when their parents are saying "because I said so, that's why" THE WATER IS OFTEN DEEPER THAN IT APPEARS ON THE SURFACE. Enjoy the land of blondes and fijords, it looks great. Once again I'm jealous but happy for you to be able to see so many places and cultures. Love ya, miss ya, say a prayer for me sometime. |

Eric, if I had read this update without knowing the God you speak of, I would want to know Him. What you say goes against the World's way of life. What you say and live is life in the Kingdom of God. Ivory towers, I like that. Looking forward to seeing you next time, and uh...drinking goat's milk. Peace. |

Hey Eric! You may or may not remember me, but I'm the oldest daughter of James Walker. I attended Bethel for a while and worked there too! I am actually returning to Bethel to get a major in Biblical Studies and an associates degree in professional Writing! I just wanted to tell you that your writing about your journey is inspiring! I'm sorry about the issues you had but I'm glad to hear that God has brought you through it! I hope the rest of the trip goes well!
God Bless!

Hi Eric,
I read your latest update and I'm sorry to hear that you had to face some major challenges along the way. That doesn't sound easy...or fun! I wanted to commend you though for the courage and strength it took to keep pressing forward even when you felt like giving up. Not a lot of people can do that, even when it is the right thing to do. However you withstood the test so go and enjoy the rest of your summer!
