just read your journals (i am a bit behind), interesting your note on smoke free pubs in Dublin. I was in NZ when the law was brought in there and all they focused on was the poor pub owners who were going to get less business, not the majority of the population who don't smoke! Also Tassie pubs will be smoke free by Jan 2006, again controversial, after Premier Paul Lennon watched his mate Bacon die of lung cancer, yet took a lot of lobbying and will be more than 12 months before the law will come in?!

Hi dave, scrolling thru the messages and reread the one from Mel about Krispy Kreme donuts... funny story, Nic Holton is living in Sydney doing pharmacy, he came down for a visit on the weekend, after he left work on thurs he picked up a box of donuts from Penrith, drove into city, walked to train station (homeless guy tried to buy the donuts off him), got on train with donuts in tow, made it to the airport to find there is a krispy kreme at the sydney airport! anyhows got to try one when i went to Hobs! | | | | celia
