Travel Sri Lanka !
Sri Lanka, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. Surrounded by sandy beaches and blue sea, it is an one stop shop for tourist. It has been known by many names in the past like Serendib, Ceylon, Teardrop of India, Resplendent Isle, and Island of Dharma.
There are many places to visit beginning form sunny and sandy beaches with lots of activities toward the hills to cool off amidst tea plantations and ancient cities. The island teems with bird life, and even the occasional elephant or leopard. To top it all off, the people are friendly, the food is delicious and costs are low.
Here I am trying to bring you those places I visited from year 2007 and their details. Hope this will be helpful for those who would like to visit Sri Lanka and even locals who would like to visit those places. Our tours are more Nature focused ones but there are some cultural places and ancient cities to be visited in the future.
I will include photos of my journeys to give you a better view of those places visit. But sadly there are not that much photos in my first 2 trips. And sometimes rain interrupted our and washed our hopes of taking some good photographs. And only with the time my abilities grew as well as equipments. So don’t hope for very best photographs in early tours. But lately u might see some quality captures of the Nature and sceneries. Hope they will increase your interest of visiting those places. I will include some photos taken by my friend Daham Silva. He is a better photographer than myself. There will be photos taken by others, specially in first trip.
