I like this message board. Shalom Aleichem. teva alum Ari Moshe came to cleveland this week and taught me that shalom aleichem means "peace is upon you" its like the hebrew "namaste" which you say in yoga class. well its really "peace is upon them" and i think its referring to angels, so you can add some angelology to your travels to spice it up a bit. ps. you didn't mention about the 'thai special.' did she crack your long john too? i've seen that volleyball/hackysack game when i was in israel, played by thai workers. seemed to be more difficult than anything we try here in the states! lisa - sigh - i miss you too. keep it on channel crazy!

Chad, How about L'hitraot when saying "goodbye". I learned that we should never say "goodbye" only "until next time" (i.e., l'hitraot) because life is a journey and we really do not know where it will take us! Or how about Shalom, or Aleicem Shalom? Or tzetchet shalom (go in peace)? Or, if you are Bodie Cyfer(is that where you get your name from?) or is it bodie Cyfus from point break (with Keanu Reeves) you could use via con dios. Via con dios dude, Baruch

When parting from other travelers how about using famous book endings? "I love big brother." 1984. or "even in Australia" Alexander and the no good horrible bad day. but i think the word most missing in our communication, in short term or long term is "love". You like challenges on your trips right? My challenge to you is to create moments of love, moments in which you share more of yourself and allow others to open up to them. To appreciate those moments and let love in. I know what an amazing person you are, and I know that everyone out there deserves is lucky to meet you! love, jer
