Hi Carolyn, Great to see that you have got into the thick of things and have been enjoying uncomfortable boat trips, chicken buses and imaginary boyfriends !! I hope you are also able to do some sightseeing amongst all the travel. I will be in San Jose, Costa Rica from December 9th if you want to hang out for a while. Still love the blog ! Adios D. |

Hi - sorry to use your guestbook in this way but I just wanted Roger to know that I'm OK. I have been trying to contact him - on both English and Rwandan Sim cards - but he's obviously not receiving the messages or the calls. I'm pretty certain that he'll access the internet at some time during his travels (may be at Josette's soon, I think)to look at your journal, Caz. I'm fine, Roger - hope all OK with you and J. .....it's funny that via this website I can get more news of Carolyn (Africa / Central America) than I can of someone travelling round France (the "old country" as far as Rwanda is concerned) and Belgium! Hope all goes well on the 27th - I'll be back in Kibungo by then.... another night in Byumba, then a couple of nights in Kigali. I have already had a swim at the Mille Collines Hotel ("Hotel Rwanda") - very pleasant. See you on the 2nd December - x |

Hi Carolyn Greetings from a very strange keyboard in Kibungo. It has rained ever since I got here (it IS the rainy season) ....wonderful to read what you had to say about the last six weeks. Chris is very well. We're off to Kigali on Wednesday ....then on up to Byumba for a couple of days.... after which we're going to a lake (should I be writing a travel journal?). I'll be back in London with Alan on the 30th. Take good care of yourself ... xxx |
