Thank you for taking an interest in my trip to Thailand, but even more so for your interest in the Thai people in Khao Lak and the horrors that they experienced when their families, homes, and lives were ripped apart by the tsunamis that hit on Dec. 26, 2004.
My favourite part of Thailand was the smiles by far. Even though many of the people I met had lost everything, the smiles remained on their faces. We have a lot to learn from these people. Remember to look someone in the eye and smile at them today.
