another great day here, the weather was perfect and i spent it exploring mies van der rohe's barcelona pavillion, calatrava's tower, and the olympic facilities as well as taking a stroll down las ramblas and then spending the evening in gaudi's parco guell. wow what a day and i estimate by my map that i walked nearly 9 miles! |

well what a day in barcelona! i took over 300 photos today in 4 different buildings by the famous Antonio Guadi! I want to load up some more stories and photos but the computers here wont let me so you all may have to wait till i get to madrid. also to marco! check out the journal from santorini greece, called "On an amazing day, monday march 20th." that talks about the sweet shop i went too were the owner tried to get me drunk on ouzo (crappy greek grappa or grape liquer) and marry his 17 year old daughter! |

Paris is wonderful. I stayed in the 7th ARR at Hotel Royal Phar, but am sure hostels are cheaper. The location was great for metro and food. don;t miss Versialles--especially the Trianons--beautiful archet. If you get to London, go to Westminster and see Henri 7th chapel. A good representation of the same type of ceiling is at Cambridge in chapel. realy enjoyed punting on Cam--Fun
Place de Vosage and Musee Carnavalet in Bastille area in Paris is great. enjoyed Rennes--so much to see--Looking forward to hearing about yr travels. Hugs, |

wow, tough crowd! you know i have the power to delete your messages, but i dont, because i belive in freedom of speech (especially while currently living in a country where the outgoing prime minister is refusing to step down out of power) anyways, really really busy around here, i actually was supposed to be in pompei right now, but i cancelled that trip at the last minute, too much class work. actually, its 2 am and i am sitting in the lobby listening to the ksu spring football game live on the internet. i love technology, and how about that allen everidge? playing well! |
