Neat pictures! We were in Vienna for a 4-day weekend early in April, 2006. I wanna go back someday, because there is much, much more there to see that we didn't have time for. You two found some great non-typical tourist things to see!
I just wanted to help you out with two things. First, your beautiful night-time picture of the "unknown" building is the Rahaus Mansion (we have a pix in Travel Journals of my husband standing in front of it on the "ring street"). The church with the neat roof is St. Steven's Cathedral, which is located at St. Stevens' Square, which I think it the largest square in Vienna.
