Welcome to Clare and Anna's African travel journal!
This is a wonderful way to share our adventures in Africa with family and friends and we will update this site with our travel stories and pictures as often as we can.
The itinerary is roughly:
30th December arrive in Nairobi, Kenya and then go straight to Uganda to a town called Jinja to volunteer with softpowereducation for a few weeks. Clare is going to make a documentary whilst we volunteer if all goes to plan. Then backpacking, exploring beautiful Uganda and Kenya!
We hope this will be a wonderful journey, not only over land but also a journey of the mind and spirit. We would love comments, news and all the rest from home and also from Denmark (Anna's home for the last 6 months).
