Ann the Traveler, I'm so excited for you! Live it up, girl! Some truths I've discovered (that you've probably beaten me to):you can stay up all night or with little naps instead of really sleeping, but only for about a week at a time; buying food adds up really fast; even in an English-speaking country it can be hard to communicate i.e. "Where's the restroom, please?" "Well, it's hard to see 'cause we're squewiffy from the loo an' it's behind the lorrie, but just mind the queue and you'll be fine." Also, Americans are not so popular anywhere but in the US--I've taken to adopting an ambiguously British lilt when I'm in clubs; we thought Texans liked their beer--drinking is the national pastime here and pubs are the only thing open past 7pm!!! I'm sure you have your own list of NZ traditions and lessons learned. I'd love to hear them and hope you have a wonderful time. Send me an update when you have a sec to breathe. Much Love, Dally

Hi Ann. I was looking at all your pictures and was wondering if you are actually studying over there or if that is just a cover up! I think the second choice is probably it. Curtis' cousin went over there last year and he didn't have any proof of actual school type studies either! Have fun and stay safe! The Kiwis are notorious for their affection for dangerous hobbies!

Howdy, If you see any hobbits about, be sure sure to inquire about the Precious! Hey what do they put on their biscuits there? Bon Sejour
