Hello Alan - thanks for taking the trouble to record your adventures in so much detail. I have not been able to go to China but enjoyed a trip around Japan and I am totally fascinated to learn as much as I can about China, Korea and Japan. Your great enjoyment of all the 'differences' compared to UK are apparent and certainly encourage anyone to visit. Will there be a 'phase 2'!? I feel a strong interest in the villages and how the poor people live.
