I have just stumbled across this site and then your journal in looking for more information on Heng Yang. We have just returned from 2 weeks in Heng Yang to stay with our daughter Alison who works there in the Spring Project with ICC. I guess the K you refer to might have been Kyla who shares a flat with Alison where we stayed. I guess you must have been part of a short term team. Reading your journal brings many memories back. What are you doing now?

Hi Clare,
I believe I might be taking the same journey as you in 2008. I have just applied to ICC to spend three months in HengYeng/Changsha. I feel called to be there to serve Him in the lives of the precious jewels as you mentioned. So glad to read the journal of a fellow pilgrim. Would love to hear from you.

We've been reading your journal and it's good to see how God is working in China. Remember we said we were giong to visit you? So unhappy we didn't get a chance to talk before you left for China. I've been praying unceasingly for you all there. For those that you will meet also. As you can tell our computer is much better.
