Hi Bub,
Hope things are oky-doky with you and your pals. Chuck and I are busily preparing to go to the ocean (hopefully it will stop snowing by Thursday) and I'm oh-so-ready to have the time off.
Ash is looking MUCH better now, (I was kinda worried about her at first) and came up again to visit. I think she's missing her "boy" (I am too!) Be safe. ILY

Hey saw Ashley yesterday she stoped by for a visit looking much better. Your mom and I are taking the motorhome and heading for the ocean on thursday and won't be back until Monday. So we will miss your return but look forward to seeing you soon. take care.

Really nice getting the pictures to go along w/ your stories. Things are a lot different than what you would imagine when you see the pics. Don't think I would advise drinking the water! Liked the pictures of the bungalow on the beach. Read about your 7 day extension, does that mean you are staying longer? Are you still home on the 14th? Miss you lots. Stay safe. |

Oh wow. Cobra city. Is the guy that does the show completely insane or just pretty freakin stupid? I can't imagine what would compell anyone to stick a cobra down their pants, but I guess whatever makes your mill go around... sounds like you are still haveing a pretty good time (despite very bad pink body affect). I'm surprised you weren't offered some sort of urine based elixor do detoxify your skin (I was watching the travel channel yesterday, and saw a guy drink a cow urine potion after getting a steam bath and massage...gross!!!) Same same stuff here. Miss you very very very much. Ash came up last weekend, looking very thin and worn. I wasn't too excited about her being here/you there, but think you guys made the right decision to send her home. (I've never seen Ash in baggy clothes before...she really needs a sandwich!---kidding) Love you lots. Stay-be-safe.

Sounds like the "good times" continue to roll. I must admit,
I am very disappointed that you decided to leave a body part in the gutter next to excrement in a strange (very strange, from the sound of things) foreign country. How utterly wasteful. You could have at least donated it to a stray mutt for lunch. I hope the rest of the finger will not fall off. (And if it does, you can ensure that a stray is following you for appropriate disposal.) Grin. Missing you muchly. Glad to see that Haley is surviving well and not as near to melt down status as prior.

Nick,What an adventure! So Haley is fun to watch, yes? Sounds like she is nearly as amazing as some of the sites. Hope you are having a good time (sounds like you are, anyhow) We stopped by Ashley's Mom's on the day she flew back in (Monday?) but she was at the Doc's. She called us a little later and said she was ok, but feeling cruddy.We haven't seen her yet, I'm gonna try to call her tomorrow from work. Love your entries, seems like you still have the gift for writing up stuff you've been through.(Shades of school year journals and assignments, with the same tongue in cheek humor I love so well.) Chuck and I have been working our asses off every day, (OT most days) and so I've been totally lax in sending you notes, but will straighten up and get some to you every couple of days from now on. (I finally got your site info at work so I can send and see stuff from there)
Are you ok on cashola? If not, lemme know, I can problably wire you some western union (I've sent it out of the country before, but I'm not sure about Thailand)

Chuck and I love you very much. Although I know you're a grown up, I can't wait until you are home (or at least in the states) so I'll quit my everlasting stupid worrying. Hopefully, I'll get to visit with Ashley soon (she's a pretty good substitute)

I'm so sorry you guys had the worst day ever once I left, I guess I was just the person who was really keeping that trip fun. haha!!! It's snowing here right now, crazy, I left Bangkok in 90 degree weather and now it's snowing!! I have a another doctors appointment today to get my blood drawn and let them look at my poo so I will left you know how that fun adventure turns out. Thanks for the great story, it made me laugh for probably about 10 min. and made me feel at least a little better about going home. Oh, and our photo of the bridge Kwai was the photo of the day on traveljournals webpage today, sweet!!!

Hey Ash, really good story on the serial killer guy! Sorry you have to come home. Nick won't do well on his own, who will protect him? Just your attitude alone would scare the shit out of most people, I know it does me!
Nick, you be careful out in the real world. Remember, you're on your own now. No mean girl to protect you. Who will sew you a quilt at night to keep you warm? Do you even know how to use a camera? I suppose that's the end of the good pictures for us. I'm sure glad the life was spared of the serial killer, thank god ash didn't get her hands on him.
Be careful on the rest of your trip, Nick. and keep on writing to us.

Glad to hear from you that all is well there and your having fun . Your not missing much on the weather here is it foggy and cold . I met Alica the other day for dinner in Snohmish and we could barly see accross the parking lot because of the fog. Tell Nick he needs to be more carfully on the frends he making some bit. huh .
Make sure you guys are staying safe and I will want to here the whole story when you get home about the crazy Thia man that you guys hitched a ride from.
