So we made it out to the coast! It was just a short ride from the city. It is beautiful here! There are these really cool things here called ascensors. They are like outside elevators that run on train tracks kinda and bring you up the steep hills. They are cool, its like 40 cents to ride in them so we´ve tried a few of them out! The city is pretty big, its all built into the sides of hills so it looks really cool! We took one up to the top and got our picture taken with a llama as you can see, but the guy cut our heads out when he took it. Everything is within walking distance of the shore. Its more of a port city, Viña del Mar, which is the neighboring city is more of the beach town. Although you have to take a bus out to the beaches, so we just saw the coast from the naval ports. We went to this museum called Mueso del cielo abierto (The Open Sky Museum). It is more of a path you walk around with these huge murals all over building walls. About 20 total. There was also this cool display called Cuerpos Pinturas in a plaza. Its an exhibit that has been going around the world trying to promote the acceptance and appreciation on all types of bodies. They were pictures of painted bodies and body parts of people from all over the world. It was quite amazing!! We are headed out to Pucon tonight, it is a small town in the mountains. There are a few volcanos we are going to climb and hot springs you can bathe in!!
