Em arrived in Sydney and met up with me. First thing we did once we'd dropped our bags was go to the bridge and the opera house.
We are currently in Byron Bay at the moment. Today we have been ridin the waves - dude.Well kind of. We got some boogie boards (which are a little bit like those floats we used to have at swimming lessons but alot bigger and they tie to your arm)and basically the idea is that you try to get a little way out and throw yourself onto a wave which will take you to the shore and burn your kneecaps off on the sand. It was fab. I was busy doing it pro style while my friend we met with was trying to teach em. She loved it and could'nt stop laughing. My god though its all very well getting a few foot out there to surf back but these waves are crazy - you get two metres and the waves fling you back another five. This morning we walked along the beach up to the light house for the bay so did a good 2-3 hour walk first thing.
We are going to austrailias best pizza restaurant where I worked tonight.
Em said that she wanted to try diving while she is in Oz so have booked a dive for tomorrow at 8.30 in the morning and she is pooping her pants and is now scared of eating too much pizza incase she sink's straight to the bottom on a full stomach and some crazy shark likes the aroma of ham and pineapple.
Moving on to brisbane tuesday.
