Hello Everyone!
I know, LONG time no update. Well I will be home in just a few days now, but I wanted to write about a cool story from Germany.
On the overnight train from Austria to Germany David and I went wandering around the train, because its really not too comfortable for sleeping unless you pay for a bed. We met this guy in the food car and started talking to him. It turns out that he is an Israeli, but he is married to a German woman and now lives in Germany. We had a very interesting talk, I am sure you can imagine, about the things that are happening in Israel at the moment. After an hour or so he gave us his number and told us to visit him if we had time while we were in Germany. We thanked him politely, but didnt think too much about really calling.
The next day or so though, David and I both felt like God was saying we should go visit him. So David called him up and got directions and the next day we took the train to their city, where him and his wife met us at the train station. We had an AMAZING time with them. We helped them cook dinner, a traditional Arabic dinner, YUM! We played games, talked, and just spent time with them. I think they were both really blessed that we took the time to get to know them.
God has blessed us in so many ways during this trip that I could never recount them all, but meeting cool people is just one of them! I am so honored to serve such an INCREDIBLE God!
