There are two rehaznos people go to puerto Natales, to get off the Navimagand to go to Torres del Paine national park. After getting off the boat we thought we should see the other asttraction the area had to offer. The torres is Chile´s premier national park and in summer is a favourite with walkers. However, when we were ther the weather was still very changeable and the week before we arrived ther we had spoken to some people who had gone trekking for 3 days and ended up in a meter of fresh snow. Wer took the day tour option and still got pretty wet. On the tour we were able to take in the parks main sights and go walking for a couple of hours knowing that although we were soaking wet we had a dry bed to go back to. The highlight of the day for mew was seeing icebergs for the time at Glacier Grey. They were titanic sinking icebergs bu they were pretty impressive nonetheless.

The day after going to the Torres we took the short bus ride to Punta Arenas. A bloody cold town on the Magellen Straits, Punto Arenas was our home for the following two nights and were able to go to town´s main museum in a 19th century colonial house and take in the colonial architecture. However, after two nights we continued south to Ushuaia.
