So for the past week I've been staying at my friend Jordan's in Tilburg. Jordan is orginally from San Diego and has immigrated out to Holland. There should be a picture of him to your right->.
Hasn't been super eventful. Just sorta hanging around, meeting some of the local artists that Jordan is friends with. They have a cool studio building here that they all share and paint in their own little seperate spaces, it's cool and right in the center of the city.
I've been hanging out in the smoke/coffee shops, just having coffee and reading; believe it or not.
Lots of bikes here and everybody seems very busy during the day. Unfortunately, like every other place in europe, everything closes around 6 PM and is completely closed on sundays. You forget to go to the grocery store saturday you starve until monday.
I've learned to make dutch pancakes. MMmmmmmmmmm.
Today I will ride my bike to Breda, the next town over. I just want a bike ride, it's great weather the last few days and I'd like to see more of the Dutch country side.
I will be heading for Amsterdam this week! Hopefully I'll get some pictures! Until then.
