I really felt so relaxed while here in Bratislava, except for when I was sleeping. It had finally happened...every backpackers nightmare. The dreaded all night snoring from the old spanish guy in the room!! The first night wasn't too bad just because I think he was drunk and was too passed out to make much noise. LAST night though he worked up this girggling noise and of course a MOAN... he was having too much fun in his sleep. I woke up so many times that I can't even give you guys a number, but hey...it had to happen or this wouldn't be a real trip!
I asked one of the other guys this morning if he got much sleep. He said that he woke up in the night and stuffed paper towels in his ears!! I wish I had thought of that...DANG! Goodness...anyway, I really liked Bratislava. I could tell that they are really trying to restore some areas and make this place a desireable tourist spot! Give it a year or two and it will be the knew Prague and not as cheap as it once was. I am off to Budapest today for 3 nights, I have much to do when I get there....hopefully the trains are running on time today! Cheers to all on the road or at home!
