I have hit a handful!! Yesturday I was minding my own business in the old town square taking pictures, when this guy came out of no where and just said "Hi" Well I wasn't paying attention because I was deep in picture taking concentration...I thought maybe I had just got in his way. Well that idea was layed to rest when he said "Hi" for the second time...I said my hellos and continued what I was doing...well his next line was a doozy, it goes a little like this, "I saw you taking pictures and I like you." You have got to be joking, I hope that doesn't actually work on some girls! I was nice enough, because it is hard for me to be mean and I just started making up all these lies.... I was meeting friends, I was leaving town in the morning, etc... I am still too honest to give a fake name but I am working on that one. He just kept on mumbling and trying to get me to talk to him and I wasn't really replying...I eventually got him to go away by giving him a fake phone number. I was just shocked that he would even think of calling the states! Strange fella...but hey thats what I attract! I quickly made my way across the square, checking my back every now and then. Unbelievable!!!!!!
Anyhow, yesturday was great! I hiked up to the top of the hillside park on the outskirts of town. They have a mini Eiffel Tower that I went to see. Layed down amongst the weeping willows in the park to finish my latest book.
When I went back to the hostel for lunch I ran into Jules, a girl in my room, we got to talking and made plans for myself, her and another girl in the room Mary to meet later to go eat dinner. This turned out to be my first Vegetarian buffet meal! It was really strange how it worked though. Basically you just load up your plate and they weight it when you are done...they charge by the weight! Of course mine weighed the most, I dont know how...I just had carrot shavings and some other stuff that I still don't know what it is. Anyhow, we ate and talked, your basic dinner. Following dinner we headed back the bar next to the hostel just to hangout. We were all shocked to see these two Czech guys sitting right in plan view snorting Cocaine!! I have never seen cocaine before so obviously I was fascinated...I wanted a picture but it wasn't working out. It was just so strange that they were just posted right there for the world to see...OHH and did they look like they were hurting too!! They were there for at least 5 hours that I know of. Jules went to get some drinks at the bar at one point and said that the two guys were eating and a cucumber had fallen in the coke and the guy just picked it up and ate it!!!! THat's nuts!
Later, we met some other hostel locals at the "Biggest" Irish pub in Prague to watch the World Cup games or something. I actually only saw the last minute or so...Ireland lost to France sadly...the pub was not too happy about it if you can imagine. Since the seen was filtering out we decided to head back to the bar closer to home...the coke house as I now call it. This is when we made it to the lower cellar areas of the bar...the place is amazing, very deceiving from the outside. Anyway, moving forward, we met these two crazy guys from Norway. One of them sounded like Dracula I am not kidding!! He was cracking me up...they were both so animated and hyperactive....I wondered if they didn't stick their faces in the Coke upstairs, but I think they were just out having a great time! Whew...I feel like I just relived the whole thing! Hopefully I have hit my max on the weirdo attraction, but there are still 20 days to make it 6 or 7.
