Zermatt to Interlaken

We got up and had brekki, packed and checked out. Caught the Winkelmatten to the Bahnhoff and caught the train to Brig. From there we went to Speiz and caught the train to Interlaken West. We had a short walk to the Hotel Rugenpark where we were greated by Chris, our jolly host for two days.

After settling in we went to the station again and caught a boat crossing the Thunersee lake to Thun (Toon). We walked around Thun and went to the castle there. We wanted pizza as we walked past a resteraunt but all the tables were reserved so we headed back to Interlaken on the train and found a Pizzaria just opposite the station. We had a nice spicy salami and capers pizza and chicken salad.

We came back, watched the news on CNN and went to bed.
