Back again!

Hello! Yes, trust your feelings and your intuition. Mine told me that I'll be back in Lisbon soon again and here I am. More specified in Oeiras ca 20 minutes outside Lisbon more close to the coast. Nice area, nice place to stay at and nice company. I'm not complaining about that. I've spend a week here and this time Luis and I has been a little bit more social than last time. We met some friends from him for a dinner one evening. Another evening we went to a little village with some other friends and watched a bullfight. They don't treat the bull so bad but ofcourse not nice either. They try to make him run the street up and down thrue the village and a lot of people are there and it's like a big party. Fun to see but after a while it was a little bit boring cause it didn't happen so much. We went to a discotheque for some drinks and the evening was nice.

One afternoon was really nice. It was another friend of Luis whose son had birthday. So we bought Harry Potter (dvd) to him and went there. First we met up in a park for picnic. Nice weather, nice people and a lot of happy kids. Luis picked up a little girl that he know and talked to her. Then he said like, this is my friend, she's from Sweden. The girl looked at me and Luis said, her name is Linda. Then the girl said like, ofcourse her name is Linda! She's Linda, and her name is Linda! The point is that Linda means beautiful in portuguese. Cute little girl and very polite... instead of saying that I'm ugly or something! After spending like one and a half hour there we went to the house of the family. There we had dinner and Luis told all the kids that I was Pippis (Pippi Långstrump) cousine. Ofcourse all the kids belived him. My red hair, light and freckly skin and from Sweden... After that the kids looked like their eyes was on their way out from their heads. I showed them my big biceps and after that they were almost more sure, she's the cousine of Pippi!!! They was a little bit shy... Pippi is very famous in Portugal so I'm really proud over our lovely Astrid Lindgren. She's absolute fantastic. We can't thank her enough for whats she's done for the kids in the world. I love her for that! A lot of respect.

We also went to visit Luis grandfather. His very old and he stayes at a place for old people. I appreciate a lot to go there cause it's really interesting to see how old people stay and I ofcorse I liked a lot to meet his grandfather. This day he was in good shape and we took him out in the garden. The place was nice and there was a lot of activities for them to join. Like painting, gymnastic, ceramics, some different excursions and so on.

We went back to Holmes place (the healthclub) again and took a body pump class.

And... I found out that I can drink the water from the tap!!! Luis makes a lot of jokes about that. You all know I'm a "big bit" neurotic about my health. So I prefer to drink bottlewater when I'm there. Maybe I didn't belived that the tapwater would make me sick but I didn't like to challenge it so I drank bottlewater. And Luis was joking like, yes, be careful, Portugal is a dangerous country and so one. Jokes like that! But anyway I drank the tapwater but the taste from the bottlewater is better!!! But Luis is right cause Portugal is a dangerous country. Maybe not depending of the tapwater but there is another point of view. It's like "klister" or another word like a "lopper"... it ties you and manipulating your brain so you like to go back again and again and maybe stay longer and longer. Thats scary! Or a oppurtunity depending how you choose to look at it. So watch out if you go there... ;o)!!! I'm not sure what it is. Maybe not only Portugal as a country or Lisbon only as a city but... I don't know for sure. I have to go there again and I let you know when (if) I find out. Thats the end for this time. Take care, with love, Linda
