Up to Piz Nair...

We got up early and went to have breakfast. We had mank cereal that really needed sugar (think sugar puffs without any flavour). We then went back to bed until 10am. Once up we walked into town. We were not impressed. Full of spakky shops like Gucci and Prada and nothing we could afford!!!!

We headed up towards the funicular and went up to Chantarella (2005m) then onto Corviglis (2486). We then took the cable car to Piy Nair at 3057m above sea level. It had the most amazing views of the Alps. We walked around the top for a good 45mins taking pictures and video before having a nice meal at the restaurant.

We took the cable car back down to Carviglis and at this point decided to walk for about 2 hours down the mountainside to the Chantarella station rather than take the funicular. On the way we passed cows, butterflies, crickets and heard the distant calls of marmots (but only spotted 3 much to Rak`s annoyance). We decided to stop at Chantarella having walked 481m downwards and Rachel needing a wee. We got back on the funicular and headed into town where Rak relived herself. We walked back to the hostel via the Coop, getting supplies for tomorrow as we take the Glacier Express to Zermatt. We had an ice cream on the way for good measure and got to the hostel knackered so had a kip before dinner. After bloating our stomaches at dinner we updated the journals online and checked email before going to bed.
