Great hostel, an international mix of people! Temp is like pleasant winter weather in Texas, cool days and cooler nights, with some rain, wind and clouds. Cape town has two or three million people, and the Gardens Area where we are staying has grocery stores about as good as whole foods and central market in Austin. We have walked to the waterfront successfully without getting mugged, and partied each night at the bar here at the Ashanti Hostel. Yesterday a fun German guy Daniel orgainzed a bunch of us and along with Peter from Austrailia, rented cars and took 10 of us to Cape Point National Park. What a blast we had! Hannah from Germany fresh in from two months internship with German Embassy in Namibia, Dahlia from Israel, Neal and Cyril from France, Andy from Australia who has been living in London for the last two years doing tile work and now Overland truck driver accross Africa. Got to get out of hear to enjoy the beautiful sunny day!
