The trip is winding down. Everything is starting to get more busy around campus. The people who are working, but have a month off are taking classes on campus for a degree. They're mostly older, so they're pretty quiet and keep to themselves.
There's another group of Africans, but not all of them are Kenyans that are in college in Norway. They seem cool. I still have to get to know them. I haven't really talked to them because I've been busy writing this paper. I really don't want to write it anymore. I've already done 25 pages. It's almost done, though. My director told me that there is a chance that the paper will get published in a local journal. That's kinda cool. I didn't think that it would get published. Another lady from UC-Davis that is doing research on the local watershed, told me that she would like my paper so that she can use it in her research. She told me that she would reference me.
This weekend, I'm getting my braids done. It's going to only cost like $10-15. I'm really excited about it.
