Oh Canada. Canada day was nuts. So many people everywhere. The whole city was packed with people on the streets and in the bars. I was happy to be a Canadian for the day. Me and Jugs started with a few beers at lunch sitting outside our house. Then went into town to see what was going on. Found some of our mates in town and had a few more drinks at Johnnys work. Then it was off to the Sticky Wicket Bar at around 6ish. By now the drinks were starting to sink in. At 10 we made our way (somehow) to a party not far away, and stayed there for the rest of the night. It was a great night, but I think I need a couple of week to recover from it.
We got a promotion at work. We are now the spray team. Got another pay rise too. We start training for that next week, then we start a 2 week job spraying some big apartment building. Our landload has asked me and Juggy if we would like to paint his house. Inside and out. Pay us cash, and alot more than what we are earning now. Should be about a 4 week job. So we are going to quit work and start up on that at the beginning of August.
We've been over here for 8 months now and really doesn't feel that long. I may be coming back home for my graduation at the end of september. It's going to be hard to slip back intp normal life again though.
