Okinawa

20 percent US military base, and a fusion of chinese and japanese culture, it's understandable if okinawa has a bit of an identity crisis. Nick, Eddie, Karou, Christine, and I spent four days in a rented car bouncing from site to site. We got a little sunburned, set off fireworks on the beach, ate a lot of taco rice, and saw a Japanese movie star.
