What is Bangkok?

I arrived two days ago and I don't know what to say about Bangkok. There are so many things that I can say. Everyone says that 2 or 3 days is enough here, well, it's true. But I didn't think I was gonna enjoy so much. There are many tourists, but u still meet so many locals and see and learn their culture. They are lovely and always want to help.

Since I arrived here, everyday i go to the same place for breakfast, lunch. It's a kind of restaurant/bar. U can just sit and relax, watching people walk on the street, all the tuk-tuks passing, it's so lovely.

There is a street market right across the road and u can find everything. I don't know how to desribe the temples, I'm gonna try to put the photos in a cd now, so I can upload a few pictures.

My train is tonight and I haven't done much today. Just writing e-mails, sitting in the restaurant, the simple fact of doing nothing is so good. Not bored, just calm an relaxed. I'm not the kind of person that likes to sit and just look at people, but now, it's the first time I actually enjoy doing that. All kinds of people. I'm really impressed. I might sound a bit ridicolous, just saying how I'm amazed and everything, but I imagine that's the first reaction of most people that are in Asia for the first time.

Lovely place! :)
