Hello Everybody,
This is a test journal update from Helen and Derek to try to trigger an e-mail to everyone.
A couple of Ayr-heads showed us this site and we thought it would be better than sending mass e-mails every once in a while.
Every time we update, you should receive an e-mail - don't worry, it shouldn't be too frequent.

Here is a one-off 1-day update for today:
Whistled round the very north of Thailand, taking in royal villas and gardens, then a Burmese lunch over the border with constant hassling for the cheapest fags I've ever seen, very dodgy DVDs (as in content, never saw the quality!) and all manner of 'genuine' no-doubt state-approved Union of Myanmar handicrafts. We sang plenty of songs from the new musical we've written, hilariously entitled 'Myanmar Girl', then went off to seek opium from the Golden Triangle. We know what to do when we get our hands on some.
OK so we head to Laos tomorrow and will attempt another update in a couple of weeks as the site is supposed to be country-specific.
