In London at the mo, did westminster abbey and the tower of London today. Pretty cool especially those crown jewels. Then off to ‘the rat pack’ for a bit of culture. Don’t mind a bit of franky.
went up to nth wales at the end of july, followed a similar diet to Ireland; castles and pubs.
snuck down to bath the other day to catch up with chemstar for some skeletoning and the like
SCOTLAND
Headed up to Scotland again (I do like the place) and stayed with some older family friends who were very good to me. Checked out the falkirk wheel, Wallace monument, royal yacht Britannia, the Edinburgh military tattoo and of course a chunk of Edinburgh fringe festival action. Found time to do some Buddhist meditation and visit a mosque to ask some Muslims a few questions i wanted answered; in between catching a heap of comedy, bagpipes and street performers. Edinburgh is a beautiful city and walking along with the pipes ringing in your ears is pretty cool. Caught up with georgie-gap student at school last yr. even got to spend some more times with my 2cuz after they missed their flight back to London. only bad thing was the weather.
Came back down thru York and checked out the Minster, showed off my navigation skills and had a very disturbingly crap dungeon experience.
