At least not for a while. Yes, I did it, I dyed my hair back to brown. I was getting sick and tired of dark roots and orangy tings. And dying your hair at the hairdresser (including shampoo and blow-dry) costs hardly less than buying the colour and doing it yourself at home. Which I guess is the reason that there are soooo many haiirdressers in Montevideo.

I wasn´t 100 % sure what colour I wanted, so I let the girl who´s doing the dye councel me. And while I was thinking more in the line of dark reddish brown, she convinced me to give the shade tobacco a try. Mistake. It´s supposed to be a goldy-olive brown. But as I had had highlights before, the shade turned out rather olive green. Luckily, after a few washes the colour lit up a little - but the next time I go I´ll make sure to take a picture of the colour I want.
