Forget music...the hills are alive with....Apple Strudel!

Today was a lot of fun! After an awesome breakfast at our hostel we walked up to the Shonbrunn Palace! We bought a classic pass which gave us the ultimate tour. We saw all the beautifully painted gold staterooms of the palace as well as the room of mirrors which was the room Mozart perforned his first concert in! Beautiful! Then we walked through the gardens and took a little train around the grounds. They had a hedge maze which wasnt to challenging, but the kids games they had set up seemed to successfully confuse us....specifically the on that was a math brain teaser...ive never been good at math lol. After we had toured the grounds and the palace we headed to the final leg of our tour which was an apple strudel show! YES! Thats right! An Apple Strudel Show! We went down to this little old basement where they had an old fashion kitchen set up and a baker taught us the Vienna way to make classic apple strudel! It was actually funny to watch. And the free samples werent to bad either. After a stop at the hostel to change for the symphonie we had dinner at a German restaurant. I had dumplings with egg....i really had no idea what i was ordering but it turned out to be so GOOD! Then i topped it off with Apple Strudel with real cream... We are off to a symphony tonight and tommorrow we wak up early to see the Vienna Boys Choir perform. Then off to Munich!
