A two day entry shoved into one. I'm so lazy.

So I didn't write last night because I am a lazy ass. I have time before we scoot off to the KGB mueseum though. Yesterday we played tourist. We took a bus tour of the city and went to Red Square. The tour was great. It showed and stopped at most of the main monuments and points of interest. The statue of Peter the Great on the Moscow river is my favourite by far. That is of course besides anything with my homeskillets Marx and Lenin. Speaking of, when we were poking around the Kremlin there were these guys who looked exactly like Marx and Putin and you could get your picture with them. It was neat. So we poked around the Kremlin and into all of the churches there. The artwork in them was so amazing. Kinda trippy how old it all was. Yes, I kept my hands to my side and did not touch ANYTHING. The best was going to the Armory. No, it was not all weapons even though they had a room full of diamond studded and jewel covered sabers which I want by the way. I loved seeind Catherine the Great's dresses and belongings. Her waist was super uber tiny and compared to her, anyone is a porko. Ohhh and then there was the carriage room! I would also like one of those to roll around town in. Also studded with jewels please. So we finished up the Kremlin around dinner time and got some grub. Delicious grub with Czech beer and appletinis- hold the tini. Oh yes, the metro. I hate those escalators. At least my shoelace didnt get stuck.

THE REAL DAY
Went to the KGB mueseum today. Very interesting and creepy at the same time. The technology for that time was just so advanced, what has it turned into now? It was everything that you read about in spy books and then some. Note, the KGB is the FSB (or is it A? I think its B. Damn my memory or lack there of...) now for all of you not up to speed. It was a tiny place but jam packed with information and history. Finished up there and hopped over to the fencing place. It took a metro, some changes, a bus, and walking to get there. We just fenced bout after bout after bout and had fun trying to communicate by any means possible. My german finally came in handy. I can actually talk to people in another language and understand them when they speak to me in it. That was nice to realize. Thanks college german classes. We went to dinner with the Russian fencers to My-My (moo-moo is the exact sound). There was Serg, Sergi, Sasha, Kate, Natash, Kostya, and Tioma (Buddy). I think that's it. Maybe some more. Anyway, it was just a Russian cafateria. Tasty though. Oh yes, on the way home on the metro I recieved a doll from someone. It's red and says "LUSIN" on it. Translation please? It made my day though. Really.

Next entry: eating dinner backwards
