I escaped just short of dying my hair magenta

Most of the shops in Fitzroy were closed when I got there last night so I decided I needed to go back and thoroughly explore… and I did… I walked the entire length of the two main streets visiting every store. I enjoy the unique bohemian and eclectic clothing and people. It reminded me of Haight Street in SF. I escaped just short of dying my hair magenta and acquiring a new wardrobe of gypsy clothes. Thursday, I went to the Queen Victoria Markets looking for Mothers Day presents. After walking the entire market I walked across town to the waterfront and enjoyed the sunny warm afternoon. I went into the mall and ended up dropping into a big casino… I walked out $40 and two meals up. I walked back to the backpacker cleaned up and changed before stopping in the Roo Bar the hostel’s basement bar. There is also a mini movie theater. Nice when I get back from all of these days filled with walking.
