After another day in San José, without any alcohol due to the elections, we took a bus to Puerto Viejo. Puerto Viejo is on Carribbean side of Costa Rica and famous for its laid-back atmosphere. In fact it was actually quite expensive and a bit boring. Maybe it was not the right time to go but most restaurants and bars were closed, it was fairly empty and we were a bit disappointed. Still, we chilled out a bit, played a lot of cards, sat at the beach and ate a lot. I know, I know, sounds like heaven for most people.
