| | | The end is near. | | | | | My stay in Nepal is very close to being finished. In just four days I will be flying to India and saying goodbye to a country that I now hold very dear to my heart. Five months have come and gone so quickly.
Since my return from the Himalaya over a week ago I've been saying lots of goodbyes. The most difficult goodbyes were definitely to the staff and students of Nava Ratna English Boarding School where I worked for three months. I hope to see them all again someday.
It's not just difficult saying goodbye to people. I'm finding it hard to visit places for the last time. Places that I've visited numerous times and have developed a small connection with.
Most of the goodbyes are finished by now and I'm really focusing on what is to come. I'm so excited to get to India. I still don't have much of a plan as far as what to do and where to go. I do know that I'm not very happy or productive in really hot weather, and therefore have decided to spend my first few months in the country travelling up north in the Himalayan region. After things cool down I'll head back south.
Thanks to everyone that has showed an interest in what I've been doing. I honestly wish I was a more gifted writer. What I'm experiencing and what I'm writing just doesn't compare most of the time. So when you're reading, keep in mind that I'm enjoying myself at least 10 times more than it sounds like in writing. What an amazing trip its been so far.
Today I am going to see Star Wars. I hope it's dubbed in Nepali or Hindi.
Thanks for reading.
