Once more i'm writing, so many things happened in the last 2 weeks. I'm in Christchurch now, it's so cold!!
i don't know where I should start. The last two weeks were soooooo good. When i was in Auckland I met a guy called Jason, I knew he was travelling with the same bus company as I am, and he gave me his e-mail. We met again in Wellington, he was travelling with some more guys. Matt, Pete, Rich and Steve. I had to stay longer in Wellington and they moved on, but we met again in Abel Tasman National Park. That's when everything started. Abel Tasman is a beautiful place, I didn't do the walk but I did 2 hours of horse riding, we went to really nice places. During the night I was really, really cold, I coundn't sleep!!!!! :(
After Abel Tasman we went to Barrytown, and we had the option of going for a walk or knife making, i went to do the knife making with most of the group. It was such a good day, is amazing to do something since the beggining, I'll, put some photos asap. That same night we had a party, but our clothes had to be made of plastic bags (the black big ones), such a funny night, the guys (Pete and Jason were so funny)!!!
After Barrytown we went to Franz Josef to do the walk on the glacier. I only did the half day walk, walking on ice in definetly not for me! i was so scared and cold! Everyone enjoyed, but the best part was going back to the room and having a hot shower!! :)
I'm not sure of the order of places we went, but i think it's right!
After Franz Josef, we went to Queenstown! Everyone says Queenstown is amazing, but when I got there I didn't like that much, I was so wrong! Queenstown is just amazing! Beautiful place! Our way from Franz Josef to Queenstown was just amazing. I'd never seen so many photo oportunities! All the mountains with snow, the lakes, the water falls, the world first bungy jump!
Queenstown is a place of radical sport and party. It's located between the montains and that gives the place such a special felling.
In our group there were many more people, and everyone got along so well that we spent all day laughing. Caroline, Lisa, Jo. Nice girls!! :)
Carolyn and Matt went to do the Nevis bungy jump, Pete and Lisa went to the shotover boat, the rest of us slept a lot!! :)
Next day we took the gondola to the top of the mountain to go Luging! That day was really, really funny. Pete and Steve crashed twice in the same place, and me and Caroline were the last, we passed them, but we had to stop to laugh, two guys on the floor, well, they were 'hurt', but we just couldn't stop laughing (sorry guys). Well, I crashed in the same place i my last time.
I wasn't doing anything in the backpackers, just watching some dvds of people that did bungy jump, so I decided i wanted to do as well. Big mistake!
The one I chose were 47m, I went in the same day, after playing mini golf with everyone. I was by myself and when I got there, Hugh, another guy from the bus was there, I was so relief to see a friendly face.
Well, it was my turn to jump. Everyone as running and jumping, shit, I just coundn't, I froze, I cound't move. I decided to try again next day. Everyone went with me, well, i was convinced i could...guess what?! I coulnd't, i was so scared, i didn't know if I wanted to cry, just run and jump, I don't know, but one thing I know, bungy jump is not for me! I don't wanna come close to another one!
In that same night the boys got into a pool comp, Jason won. He could decide between $100 bar tab or jump from the Nevis. Steve and Rich said they would jump with him. They were really scared but they did it!! So funny!
That week i Queenstown will be forever in my heart, I feel like I know those guys for a long time, they are my friends, my older brothers (Caroline my older sister), gorgeous guys!
I described facts that we happended with us, but I can't describe what it meant to me. Those guys are a gift from destiny!
New Zealand is a beautiful and amazing country and I'll only have good memories from here (except the germain guy - hahaha).
Well, I still have around 2 weeks, so I'll enjoy as much as possible!
I will put some photos as soon as possible, i was trying but I need to change the size!
