the night began with an innocent beer at kenny's sitting between jimmy and a thai prostitute trying hard to waken life into the severely inebriated british builder slouched in a corner mumbling swear words at random moments. a danish guy sat opposite talking with his thai/german woman while a swede sat across from the dane commenting on how the vikings raped britain -to which the british guy mumbled....."you cunt"....."viking wankers"...before sipping his sangsom and slouching once again. after rounds and rounds of whisky we moved over to the relative safety of the karaoke bar where songs were belted out for our sake even though the words escaped us and the atmosphere was filled with stories and laughter. another long walk home up to the fifth floor. another grand grand night in BKK.
