Today I saw Michelangelos David. It was actually alot bigger than you think it is! its huge! absolutely captivating though. its so perfect... the veins in his arms down to the muscles in his knees and the way hes standing and everything... it truly is a masterpiece.

we took a bus tour and saw the Duomo which is a big ass church. I mean it is BIG. and theres nothing in the middle... its just big huge open space and then art all along the sides. very cool, big dome.

I also saw the graves of Michelangelo and Machiavelli (please forgive my spelling) We couldnt see Galileos casue they were doing work on it... but I stood near it!

we had a Calzone for lunch... so good! everything in europe is just a variation on the ham and cheese sandwhich. the french put it in a baguette, the italians in a calzone, the spanish in something else...but its still ham and cheese. but good!

alrighty Id better go my time is about to run out!
