My second last Saturday here and we spent the evening eating home made pizza’s and playing cards. At around 7:30pm We all piled into Bertie’s car (we meaning Lou, Julie, Zoe, Bertie and myself) and drove to centurion (in Gauteng province) to see the Water Organ.
The Water Organ is a very large fountain in the centre of a lake that has lots of different coloured lights and the lights and the water are all synchronised to music. It was a very pretty sight to see, while we froze our butts off in the cold.
Bertie made sure that we were all not only cold, but freezing. He went with Zoe and purchased ice creams for us all. Saying that it was a tradition and it couldn’t be broken. Julie later informed me that they had never been to the Water Organ and not had ice cream, so we all made sure that we froze to the point of teeth chattering, all in the name of keeping tradition.
I took some photos and also some video, but they really didn’t capture the colour or the water properly, so you will all just have to look at the photo’s I managed to get and use your imagination to enhance them to what the true beauty of the Water Organ is.
Or you could just take my word for it, if you have no imagination – lol.
