As many of you are already aware, I left for South Africa from Adelaide. Because of the change in my circumstances I am now returning to Melbourne and not to Adelaide. However, I have not been able to change the destination of my flight. I had to organise a flight from Adelaide to Melbourne, which is not an easy thing to do in a foreign country and not being in the possession of a credit card.
Out of desperation I emailed Michelle Robinson at Flight Centre in Dandenong. Which is were I booked and paid for my flight to South Africa. After many emails back and forth and much patience and assistance from Michelle, I have now got a flight to take me to Melbourne after I land in Adelaide.
I am forever grateful to Michelle for all of her friendly assistance. She really did go out of her way to help me out of a difficult situation. I cannot recommend her enough. If anyone is planning on travelling anywhere, I suggest that you should either, email, call or visit Michelle Robinson. She will go out of her way to provide you with the best deal and will give you service that is very hard to find these days.
Once I return home I will go into the Flight Centre Office in Dandenong Plaza and present Michelle with a bunch of flowers and a thank you card to show her how much I appreciate all of her help. Good service is so hard to find these days, and when we do get good service, we don’t acknowledge it like we should. We are always quick to complain about bad service , and slow to acknowledge good service.
I hope by this post in my on line travel journal, my letter to Michelle’s manager, and my bunch of flowers, that I am doing my bit to acknowledge excellent service.
